|
MendocinoHoliday is among the Coast's finest & most affordable lodging. It provides you respite from the stresses of city & valley. It is just 1/2-mile from the Pacific Ocean, 5 miles south of the Village of Mendocino, and 3 hours from San Francisco or Sacramento. Our single guest suite is modern and completely private on the second-floor in a separate building from our main house. The buildings are situated in an estate-like, garden setting
On the main floor: a bedroom with queen-sized bed; living room with High Definition LCD Flat Panel monitor; Dish network Turbo HD service; DVD player; gas-fired Vermont stove; breakfast area; & shower bathroom. A loft offers an extra full-sized bed and a cozy place to relax. Throughout, you will find plush furnishings, carpeted & slate floors, and virtually total quiet.
At any time you may use the hot tub and stroll the lush garden that features hundreds of select rhododendrons, heathers, maples, bamboos, hostas, and four ponds for Koi fish, water lillies and reflection. It is surrounded by native redwoods, huckleberry, ferns (2 species), trillium, sorrel, and salal. There are areas to sit, enjoy refreshments or picnics.
This Mendocino Coast features dramatic seascapes, giant redwoods, hiking, art, history, interesting shops, kayaking, fishing, and some of the finest restaurants in the country. 6 of the best are within 2 miles of Mendocino Holiday.
